Citizens Business Bank announced the hiring of Paul F. Rodeno as Senior Vice President and Manager of the bank’s newly formed San Diego Region. Mr. Rodeno joined Citizens Business Bank to lead the bank’s growth initiative in the Greater San Diego market.

Most recently, Mr. Rodeno served as the Principal Founder, CEO, President, and member of the Board of Directors of Security Business Bancorp and its subsidiary Security Business Bank of San Diego. Paul helped lead a team that successfully developed $250 million in assets and established four offices in the Greater San Diego area, including Downtown San Diego, Carmel Valley, Escondido, and Carlsbad. Prior to that, Mr. Rodeno was Executive Vice President of Eldorado Bancshares Inc., an Orange County-based, $1.5 billion asset, 24-branch bank holding company that included banking subsidiaries Eldorado Bank and Antelope Valley Bank.
As for his work in the community, Mr. Rodeno presently serves on the Board of Directors of California Southern Small Business Development Corporate, a community-based non-profit. He was a founding member of CONNECT Sport Innovators and also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Downtown San Diego Partnership.
