HCP (NYSE:HCP) has been named the Global and North American leader for the healthcare sector by the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB). This marks the second consecutive year that HCP was ranked #1 among all survey respondents within its sector.
“We are delighted to be recognized as the healthcare real estate leader in sustainability by GRESB. Sustainability is one of our core values and these acknowledgements reward the ongoing efforts of our employees in support of this important corporate objective,” said Jay Flaherty, HCP’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
HCP was also awarded a Green Star designation by GRESB which recognizes an organization’s integrated approach regarding its management of key environmental performance indicators.
