(Nasdaq:CBEY), the technology ally to small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), announced today it will participate in Cloud Partners, September 9-11, 2013, at the Hyatt Regency, McCormick Place, Chicago, Ill. Cbeyond will highlight new managed hosting services and its Communications on the Go business communications bundle at booth #414.
In line with its 2013 theme "Business Value on the Cloud", the Cloud Partners trade show and conference will define and highlight new cloud solutions and provide the opportunity to learn from industry leaders. Cloud Partners attendees include VARs and integrators considering cloud-based services, MSPs adding cloud services, telecom agents and brokers moving to the cloud, data center brokers with evolving strategies, aggregators integrating cloud services and consultants advising customers on cloud migration.
On September 11, from 9:30–10:15 a.m. Bill Thomson, Cbeyond's senior director, product management will join Dave Gilbert, CEO of SimpleSignal and Aldo Ramirez, director of cloud services at XO Communications for a panel discussion on " Opening Doors with Unified Communication as a Service" moderated by Pam Avila, CEO of DiscussUC. Panelists will discuss how businesses of all sizes can use unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) to derive the productivity gains from combining telephony, messaging and collaboration across both fixed and mobile devices. Thomson will review demand and drivers for UCaaS, evaluate characteristics of top customer targets and share best practices for selling UCaaS.Prior to the show, from 1:45 to 2:15 and 4:15-4:45 p.m. on Tuesday September 10 Jeff Uphues, Cbeyond's vice president, solution sales, will participate in two roundtable discussions at Cisco Cloud Connections, also at McCormick Place. Uphues joins cloud providers to share real life customer experiences in moving to the cloud. Cbeyond is a Cisco Master Service Provider for cloud and managed services.
