Fastweb ( www.fastweb.com), the leading website for scholarship and financial aid information and a member of the Monster.com network, introduced for the new school year, Student Soundoff. This is the new and improved information resource on Fastweb written by students, for students. The team of student contributors brings depth, diversity and authentic student insight to Fastweb which has helped students pay for school for more than 18 years.
In June, an outreach campaign was conducted, whereby Fastweb students with English and journalism related majors and interests were offered the opportunity to apply. They were required to submit a writing sample detailing their use of Fastweb and their scholarship search experiences. Nearly 3 dozen applications were received and final selections were made based on overall writing skills and academic year.
