CHICAGO, Aug. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --
I have a dream…
That one day women and minorities will be treated equally under the law: in health access, in pay, in education, in government leadership, and in our America and around the world. Our organization, SAVE THE PATIENT and health providers are aware of the daily life and death consequences of lack of access to health care by women and minorities.
I may not get there with you…just as our foremothers and forefathers who toiled and marched, lived and died, to build the foundation for our freedom did during their generations without enjoying the full extent and promise of equality. When equal opportunity comes to our country and the world; there will be no more need for wars or hunger, the governments will be of and by the people equally under God, and every child, girl and boy, will be given a new birth of freedom. On August 26, we celebrate the 72nd year of Woman's Equality Day, and on August 28, the 50th year of Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream," Speech and the March on Washington DC. Let's make it an action week by sharing our dream of equality for all. If you have a dream for full equality, send this message to every one you know via Internet. It's our way to march together, to stand as sisters and brothers...just the soldiers of justice who came before us. We can lend our voices to their collective plea for full and equal rights: to life, to liberty, and the pursuit of justice by Sending, or Sharing this message in the virtual world of the Internet. I have a dream…that we act not out of fear, but out of love… our world is in trouble and needs each and every one of us to act: no matter the gender, nor race, to lend a hand. The Lord loves us equally and our freedom is God-given.
