By the end of trading, SBA Communications rose $1.04 (1.4%) to $73.47 on light volume. Throughout the day, 795,812 shares of SBA Communications exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 1,681,800 shares. The stock ranged in a price between $72.20-$73.57 after having opened the day at $72.50 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $72.43. Other companies within the Diversified Services industry that increased today were: Net 1 Ueps Technologies ( UEPS), up 47.5%, WidePoint Corporation ( WYY), up 7.3%, Cambium Learning Group ( ABCD), up 6.2% and Career Education Corporation ( CECO), up 6.0%.

SBA Communications Corporation owns and operates wireless communications towers in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, and Brazil. Currently there are 12 analysts that rate SBA Communications a buy, no analysts rate it a sell, and 1 rates it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates SBA Communications as a hold. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, increase in stock price during the past year and increase in net income. However, as a counter to these strengths, we also find weaknesses including disappointing return on equity and generally higher debt management risk.

On the negative front, China Yida ( CNYD), down 13.8%, Daegis ( DAEG), down 9.1%, Harris Interactive ( HPOL), down 8.7% and National Research Corporation Class B ( NRCIB), down 7.2% , were all laggards within the diversified services industry with Myriad Genetics ( MYGN) being today's diversified services industry laggard.

For investors not wanting singular stock exposure, ETFs may be of interest. Investors who are bullish on the diversified services industry could consider iShares Dow Jones US Cons Services ( IYC) while those bearish on the diversified services industry could consider ProShares Ultra Short Consumer Sers ( SCC).
