Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE: RGC), a leading motion picture exhibitor owning and operating the largest theatre circuit in the United States, today announces the results of a poll for America’s Favorites in RPX. Regal’s Facebook and Pinterest fans were asked to vote for the 2013 movie they would most like to see back on the big screen exclusively in the Regal Premium Experience (RPX). The two winners are both in RealD 3D: “Despicable Me 2” and “Man of Steel.” For one week beginning August 30, Regal Crown Club members can see their favorite in RPX for only $6 which is a savings of at least half off the regular price.
“These recent box office hits really offer something for everyone. If you’ve already seen the film, you can enjoy it again, and if you didn’t have the opportunity to see it, now is the perfect chance,” said Ted Cooper, senior vice president of film at Regal Entertainment Group. “It gives moviegoers an opportunity to see a terrific 3D film in the ultimate environment that we call the Regal Premium Experience.”
Tickets for America’s Favorites in RPX are now available for $6 at the box office for members of the Regal Crown Club. For online ticket sales and for those without membership, admission is $7. Through the industry-leading Regal Crown Club, patrons accumulate credits at the box office and concession stand to earn free popcorn, soft drinks and movies.
