Erickson Air-Crane Incorporated (NASDAQ: EAC; “Erickson” or “the Company”), a leading global provider of aviation services to a diverse mix of commercial and government customers, and the vertically-integrated manufacturer and operator of the powerful heavy-lift Erickson S-64 Aircrane helicopter, announced today that it has received a contract from Helicopter Transport Services (“HTS”) to perform modifications and upgrades on seven CH54B tail boom and pylon assemblies.

The total value of the contract is approximately $1.5 million, and advanced engineering and technical work is already underway. The Company noted that modifications and upgrades performed by Erickson will extend life limits on critical components.
