Kate Gratto, vice president of Process Management at Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU), was recently named one of Workforce magazine’s 2013 Game Changers.
“What makes Kate successful is her ability to juggle both strategy and tactics,” said Marietta Cozzi, vice president and head of Prudential Staffing. “Kate can see the big picture in any given project and connects the dots with other firm-wide initiatives. At the same time, she thinks through the details needed to follow through on her ideas. Together, these skills lead to successful execution of high-quality deliverables time and time again.”

Throughout her tenure, Gratto led a cross-functional project with Prudential Retirement to ensure preparedness and compliance with more than 135 provisions of the Pension Protection Act of 2006. She also helped to manage the transition of New Jersey’s employee deferred compensation plan from the state to the company.
