Rock will spearhead the ongoing innovation and technical development of the company’s big data management platform, ensuring cross channel capabilities that include mobile, desktop, and interactive television.

Rock joins Voltari as a 19-year veteran in design and implementation of high-performance, highly scalable software systems. Before using Big Data was the norm for marketers, Michael specialized in this nascent field as an early pioneer. He has been the principal data engineer for numerous startups in the online ad delivery space – including FetchBack (eBay), iCrossing (now Hearst) and Adhesive.co – helping each of them address complicated issues to drive incremental revenue growth and take a position as market leaders. Michael joins Voltari at a time of great expansion, as the company serves more brands, across more industry segments, with increasingly complex questions to ask and answer.
