Regions Bank (NYSE: RF) today announced that Traci Wharton, Community Banking Sales Assistant in Nacogdoches, Texas, is the July 2013 recipient of the Regions Bank Better Life Award. The Better Life Award is the top honor given to an associate of Regions for outstanding dedication and job performance, as well as exemplary involvement and commitment to the community.
During her 19-year career with Regions, Wharton has exemplified what it means to focus on the entire needs of each customer, as well as making sure that customers get the best service and receive the attention needed. That focus comes from a deep understanding, commitment and passion for people and an array of experiences in the bank – from drive-thru teller, to community banking assistant.
“Traci instills a quiet confidence in her coworkers and customers,” said George Campbell, Regions Bank Area President in Ark-La-Tex. “It’s more than just being dependable; it’s that she knows the business, knows the people and finds the best option for everyone.”Whether she’s helping clients with financial matters, getting new associates acclimated or delivering one of her delicious pies, Wharton has an attitude that inspires others. That is music to the ears of colleagues and clients and to other supporters of her local high school band booster club (Nacogdoches High School), of which she serves as president. The Better Life Award is presented monthly to a Regions associate who lives the company’s mission to make life better for customers, associates and the communities it serves, and who is an example of the company’s values:
