The home donation stemmed from a partnership between U.S. Bank, Freedom Alliance and Five Brothers, a real estate management company that helped renovate the home. The individuals who will welcome Adcock and his family to their new home and present them with the keys are:
- Darrell Brown, senior vice president for U.S. Bank in Los Angeles,
- Brian Butler, U.S. Bank's Military Program Manager;
- Rachel Goodlander, project manager in U.S. Bank’s real estate owned group,
- Thomas Kilgannon, president of Freedom Alliance, and
- Joe Badalamenti, chief executive officer of Five Brothers.
“U.S. Bank is a proud supporter of military veterans and their families through our Proud to Serve program,” Brown said. “We employ more than 2,000 current and former members of the U.S. military, and have been recognized nationally as a top employer for veterans. This is our second home donation this year, and we hope to continue to offer this opportunity to returning heroes in the future.”
U.S. Bank honors and supports the men and women of the U.S. Military through its Proud to Serve program. In addition to partnering with numerous military service organizations such as Freedom Alliance, the Proud to Serve program also focuses on hiring and U.S. Bank will hire more than 1,000 veterans nationwide during 2012-2013.
The home will be donated to the Adcock family through a partnership of Freedom Alliance and its Homes to Homeowners program. “The Heroes to Homeowners Project exists to provide brave men and women with the very best home possible in order for them to live comfortably. A new home has the potential to ease the transition into civilian,” Kilgannon said.About Freedom AllianceFreedom Alliance is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a public charity organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.
