July 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fuwei Films (Holdings) Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: FFHL) ("Fuwei Films" or the "Company"), a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality BOPET plastic films in
China, today announced that the Company received a letter from The Nasdaq Stock Market on
July 25, 2013 indicating that as a result of the Company's failure to have a minimum Market Value of Publicly Held Shares (MVPHS) of
$5,000,000, the Company is not in compliance with the Nasdaq requirements for continued listing set forth in Nasdaq Marketplace Rule 5450(b)(1)(c).
The Company is required to regain compliance with the MVPHS requirement not later than
January 21, 2014, otherwise its shares will be subject to delisting from NASDAQ.
Fuwei's management is reviewing various options available to the Company, including regaining compliance and continued listing on The NASDAQ Stock Market and applying for a transfer to The Nasdaq Capital Market. If at any time during this grace period the Company's MVPHS exceeds
$5,000,000 or more for a minimum of ten consecutive trading days, Nasdaq will provide the Company with a written confirmation of compliance.
