Grammy Award-winning music legend Kirk Franklin is returning to host the sizzling sixth season, which promises awe-inspiring performances and special guest appearances.
Twenty contestants selected from auditions nationwide will contend to become the next big voice in gospel music.

After each episode, Gold Peak will take viewers “Behind the Stage” online for an exclusive look into the search for gospel’s newest star. Contestants, judges and guests will share their experiences with BET.com as they refresh with Gold Peak Tea.
The nine-week series will conclude with the crowning of the “Sunday Best” victor, who receives a national recording contract with Fo Yo Soul / RCA Records, a brand new Ford Fusion and a cash prize.
