, has launched a blog to raise awareness of charities that benefit from its philanthropic program, Lay It Forward.

Installing a hardwood floor is an investment by homeowners – it lasts for years and grows in character as an element of a home's beauty. By sustaining the Lay It Forward program now, Lumber Liquidators believes its investment will have a similar and lasting impact.

In the last five years alone, Lumber Liquidators has donated more than 300,000 square feet of flooring to non-profit organizations, schools, arts facilities, community groups and more.

One of the benefiting organizations is Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides programs to strengthen families in need. To date, Lumber Liquidators has donated 250,000 square feet of flooring to more than 50 Ronald McDonald Houses. The National Wood Flooring Association gave Lumber Liquidators a 2013 Community Service Award in recognition of this particular partnership.
