Previously, ESL was using paper timesheets and a payroll service bureau to handle time management for its employees, but the HR/payroll team had limited functionality, which prevented optimal efficiency. “We had outdated, manual processes as well as poor customer service with a service bureau, and it was very difficult for us to generate meaningful reports. We wanted to do so much more, but there were so many restrictions. The time savings is immense because we have reduced so much administration,” said Cialini. Also managing time and attendance for its dispersed workforce, Athletico is a Chicago-based leader in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation with almost 100 locations and over 1,300 employees. Company leadership realized that the organization needed sophisticated technology that would handle HR activities better, faster, with fewer resources, and without the burden of managing software.
