UPS gives $1 million to United Way

consecutive year that United Way has recognized the exceptional contribution of UPS Canada and its employees. The award commemorates organizations that, through corporate charity and the combined efforts of employees and members, contribute

Each UPS facility in
takes part in an annual United Way pledge campaign, with various fundraisers hosted throughout the year. This year the Second Annual 'Pulling for U' Plane Pull is taking place. The event is a collaborative effort with United Way Calgary and the UPS Calgary centre. Teams of 15 are challenged to pull an approximate 190,000 lbs Airbus A300 for 50 feet in the quickest time.
