increased nearly 350 percent. Nationally, more than 50 percent of Verizon Wireless' data traffic is now carried over the 4G LTE network, demonstrating dramatic adoption of the new technology.
"Tech-savvy Floridians recognized and demanded the advanced capabilities of 4G LTE, so we devoted great effort and resources to deliver these services across the state as soon as possible," said
, Florida network executive director for the Verizon Wireless. "The effort has paid off with reliable service to our customers and a dramatic advantage over our competitors."

The rapid expansion of 4G LTE technology in
is part of an overall network investment of more than
