(NYSE:ECOM), a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and manufacturers to increase global sales, today announced that CEO Scot Wingo has been re-elected to
Shop.org’s Board of Directors
in one of the five coveted non-retailer positions. Wingo was re-elected to the 20-member Board for another two-year term by existing Shop.org members along with executives from Belk, HSN, Razorfish, Tory Burch, Urban Outfitters and more.
“I’m thrilled to be re-elected to the Shop.org Board, and I’d like to congratulate and welcome the newest members,” said Wingo. “I’m very passionate about the e-commerce industry, and I look forward to continuing my service with the organization and working with such an impressive list of thought leaders to help shape the digital commerce landscape.”
Each Shop.org Board member is considered a thought leader and innovator in his or her area of expertise. Wingo’s past contributions to Shop.org— significant industry leadership and daily interaction with online retailers and manufacturers— qualified him for this noteworthy position.
“Shop.org aims to be the world’s most valued membership community for digital commerce, and we are thrilled to welcome returning members as well as the new members to the Board this year,” said NRF Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Shop.org Vicki Cantrell. “Together, this group of e-commerce executives will be strong ambassadors for our organization and inspire online sellers to share information and insight about online and multichannel retailing.”
Wingo is the co-founder and chief executive officer of ChannelAdvisor, where he leads the company in its mission to help retailers and manufacturers efficiently sell their products across multiple online channels around the world. ChannelAdvisor offers retailers and manufacturers leading cloud-based solutions to efficiently automate and manage the online selling process across channels such as third-party marketplaces, paid search and comparison shopping engines, with rich media and more.
