The Company stated that due to the rapidly changing wildfire, the safety of its workers and their families is its main priority. Cliffs will continue to monitor the situation and the local
management team will determine when it is safe to resume operations.
Cliffs has been working with
authorities to provide volunteer assistance and earth moving equipment to create a firebreak at a safe distance from the fire. The Company is also providing support with housing and cafeteria availability in
