Dan Kurani, founder of Thumb, will continue his visionary role as co-founder, board member and Chief Digital Officer of Ypulse Inc., with his co-founder, Michael Melli, who will continue as VP Engineering. According to Kurani, "The opportunity to leverage Ypulse's infrastructure and the deep relationships with leading marketers is perfect for this stage in Thumb's evolution.  We're very excited to commercialize Thumb hand-in-hand with the talented team at Ypulse."

"We founded the company on the insight that social media could connect us with youth opinion, and mobile usage has since come to dominate the online behavior of Millennials (those born between 1982 and 2004)," stated Dan Coates, co-founder and president of Ypulse Inc.  "Our goal is to work closely with Dan Kurani and his team to aggressively pivot toward mobile, enabling our clients to connect with young consumers at the 'feedback moment', wherever  and whenever that may occur."

Thumb Story A few years ago Thumb was incubated with the goal of helping people get instant opinions while shopping. After launching the concept in 2010, the product quickly evolved to support the community's interest in getting and giving feedback in virtually every area of life (music, artwork, shopping, hairstyles, relationships, movies, food, etc.).  Today, Thumb has become the leading mobile social network for getting and giving opinions with close to 2 million members providing over 1 billion opinions and growing.
