Sikes Senter Mall, the premier shopping destination in Wichita Falls, Texas serving consumers across 19 counties between Oklahoma City and Dallas, will soon be getting a facelift. Today, the mall’s owner Rouse Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RSE) announced it has begun an extensive cosmetic renovation plan that includes such items as installing new tile flooring throughout the common areas, enhancing the lighting throughout the property, upgrading the interior and exterior signage and adding a children’s play area. The Sikes Senter Mall renovation is scheduled to be completed prior to the holiday season in 2013.

The enhancements to Sikes Senter Mall will result in consumers spending more time shopping and socializing in a more enjoyable and productive environment. As the dominant retail destination for the area, the renovation will enable us to continue to upgrade the quality of our already strong retailer roster, expand and strengthen our position in the market and drive higher sales for all of our retail partners."
Conveniently located off I-44, Sikes Senter Mall is the only enclosed, regional mall within a 100 mile radius and serves nearby Sheppard Air Force Base. The 670,000 square foot center is anchored by Dillard’s, jcpenney, Sears and Carmike Cinema and features over 80 specialty retailers including Aeropostale, Bath & Body Works, American Eagle Outfitters, Victoria’s Secret, Old Navy, Hollister and The Children’s Place.
