announced today that D. Scott Stice will join the company as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Stice will have overall responsibility for sales, marketing and distribution for the company’s brand, Farm Bureau Financial Services, and its multiline exclusive agency force. He will be a member of FBL Financial Group’s Management Team and report directly to Chief Executive Officer James P. Brannen.
Stice comes to FBL Financial Group from Farmers Insurance, where he was most recently Senior Vice President and Head of Field Strategy and Execution. Stice began his insurance career with Farmers as an exclusive agent in 1990, and held various agency, marketing and field operations positions. Stice holds a BS degree in Business Management and Administration from the University of the Redlands, and he earned an MBA from Pepperdine University.
