NEWPORT NEWS, Va., May 29, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII) announced today that John Temple has been promoted to vice president of contracts management for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS). SRNS is a joint partnership between Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS), Fluor Corp. and Honeywell that manages operations of the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site in Aiken, S.C.

Prior to this promotion, he was the director of contracts administration at SRNS after serving as NNS' director of contracts and pricing.
