Award winners demonstrated merit in each of the following categories: workforce demographics; management practices; employee engagement; corporate social responsibility; diversity and inclusion; total rewards programs and benefits; health & wellness programs and initiatives; and an employee voice survey. The Diversity Champion award winners were based on their Diversity and Inclusion practices in the following categories: leadership; workforce demographics; employee programs and communication; corporate philanthropy; diversity recruitment; inclusion programs; supplier diversity; diversity in products and services.Marriott was honored at a special Awards Luncheon at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Maryland. Sixty-eight businesses were also honored the event, and more than 450 area business executives were in attendance.
