Zynga Inc Class A ( ZNGA) pushed the Internet industry lower today making it today's featured Internet laggard. The industry as a whole closed the day up 0.3%. By the end of trading, Zynga Inc Class A fell $0.08 (-2.5%) to $3.13 on light volume. Throughout the day, 19,477,805 shares of Zynga Inc Class A exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 36,764,400 shares. The stock ranged in price between $3.10-$3.22 after having opened the day at $3.20 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $3.21. Other companies within the Internet industry that declined today were: Deltathree ( DDDC), down 18.0%, Rediff.com India ( REDF), down 3.2%, Renren ( RENN), down 3.2% and Angie's List ( ANGI), down 3.2%.

Zynga Inc. develops, markets, and operates online social games as live services on the Internet, social networking sites, and mobile platforms in the United States and internationally. Zynga Inc Class A has a market cap of $2.0 billion and is part of the technology sector. Shares are up 36.4% year to date as of the close of trading on Monday. Currently there are 2 analysts that rate Zynga Inc Class A a buy, 2 analysts rate it a sell, and 14 rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Zynga Inc Class A as a hold. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its compelling growth in net income, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures and expanding profit margins. However, as a counter to these strengths, we also find weaknesses including weak operating cash flow and a generally disappointing performance in the stock itself.

On the positive front, Synacor ( SYNC), down 5.7%, China Finance Online ( JRJC), down 5.6%, Friendfinder Networks ( FFN), down 5.3% and Points International ( PCOM), down 4.8% , were all gainers within the internet industry with LinkedIn ( LNKD) being today's featured internet industry leader.
