CNO Financial Group Announces Loretta Jacobs To Join Bankers Life And Casualty As VP, Long Term Care

CARMEL, Ind., April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CNO Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: CNO) today announced that Loretta Jacobs, FSA, MAAA, has been named Vice President of the Long Term Care business for Bankers Life and Casualty, the national life and health insurer focusing on the retirement market, reporting to Scott Perry, Chief Business Officer and President of Bankers Life.

"Loretta is a valuable addition to our leadership team," said Perry. "Her broad knowledge of the industry, proven actuarial and LTC expertise, and strong leadership ability will be a great asset to Bankers Life and CNO."

Jacobs joins Bankers from Ernst & Young, where she led their LTC actuarial audit and advisory services practice.  She has over 20 years of insurance industry experience, including actuarial and operational leadership roles at CNA Insurance, John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance, and Milliman.

Jacobs is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).  She graduated with high honors from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
