Henry Schein, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSIC), the world's largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, medical and animal health practitioners, announced today that it has entered into a facility agreement of up to
$300 million with The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. based on the securitization of its accounts receivable. The facility is committed and has a maturity of three years.
Henry Schein plans to use this new facility for working capital and general corporate purposes, including, but not limited to, capital expenditures, the repurchase of the Company's capital stock and permitted refinancing of existing debt, as well as for funding potential acquisitions.
