/PRNewswire/ -- Nuage Networks, which provides software defined networking (SDN) solutions for datacenter networks, is pleased to announce it is collaborating with Red Hat, Inc., the world's leading provider of open source solutions, to support the continued tremendous growth of cloud services.
Nuage Networks will work with Red Hat to certify its OpenStack Quantum plug-in for Red Hat's planned enterprise cloud management solution, Red Hat OpenStack. By working together, the two companies are taking a significant step forward in building advanced SDN capabilities to underpin the cloud networks of service providers and enterprises around the world.

Quantum is an OpenStack project to provide "networking as a service" between interface devices managed by other Openstack services.
