April 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Development Council (NDC), a global leader in economic and community development, announced its fifth biennial Academy 2013. Under its theme "Delivering Community Results in Difficult Times," the Academy 2013 is a unique three-day training opportunity featuring daily sessions following four key tracks, and 22 sessions like
Creative Financing: Innovative Approaches to Developing Governmental Buildings; and Job Creation: Federal Financing Tools.

San Antonio, Texas will welcome participants at the conference's opening day networking lunch.
The 2013 Academy will also offer a networking opportunity for attendees allowing participants to meet with their Congressional delegations and attend a Capitol Hill reception on
Wednesday, April 17th6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Caucus Room, Russell Senate Office Building – Room 325.
On the final day of the conference, the Academy Awards Luncheon will feature U.S. HUD Secretary
Shaun Donovan. Donovan has helped to stabilize the housing market, kept responsible families in their homes, and instituted reforms that have solidified the Federal Housing Administration's financial position and protected taxpayers against risk.
