FORT MILL, S.C.,
April 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Red Ventures, a marketing and technology company, broke ground today on the third building at its
Fort Mill, S.C. headquarters, located a mile south of
Charlotte, NC. The 180,000 sq. foot building will accommodate the 1,000 employees Red Ventures plans to hire over the next 5-7 years; beginning with 400 hires over the next 3 months. Building amenities announced today include: a 6-lane bowling alley, an amphitheater for live music, a beer garden, a cycling room, yoga studio, a comprehensive food court and more.
"When it comes to our campus, the mission is simple: to create a great workplace for the absolute best people," said CEO
Ric Elias. "We started this company in a basement, so today's celebration is surreal. We've been able to attract and keep top talent because people love coming to work here each day. This expansion and the amenities included will enable us to continue providing our employees with a great place to work."
Red Ventures markets and sells products and services for some of the largest brands in the nation. Its rapid growth has been fueled by its unique business model, which allows it to align with companies as strategic "partners," rather than clients. The company has grown more than 40 percent a year for the past three years and is on pace for even greater growth in 2013. Red Ventures' team has also taken off, climbing from 300 employees to more than 1,600 employees in less than four years. In addition to its
Fort Mill, S.C. headquarters, the company has operations in
San Antonio, and
"Red Ventures is an absolute point of pride for
South Carolina," said S.C. Governor
Nikki Haley, who met with company employees during today's groundbreaking. "You are seeing a very innovative company that is taking true gambles in a time when the economy is shaky, and they're succeeding."
Red Ventures expects to move into the new building in
May 2014. The addition of the new building will bring headquarter square footage to a total of 330,000 square feet. The new space will complement the company's existing onsite employee perks, which include: an indoor basketball court, walking/running track, fitness center, locker rooms, putting green, and a gourmet cafe with subsidized meals.
