Media General, Inc. To Announce First-Quarter 2013 Results, Host Conference Call On April 24, 2013

RICHMOND, Va., April 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Media General, Inc. (NYSE: MEG), a local broadcast television and digital media company, said today that it will report its first-quarter 2013 results on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, before the market opens. The company will host a conference call for investors to discuss the results at 11:00 a.m. EDT that morning.  The conference call will be simultaneously webcast on the company's website. 

Investors may access the conference call by dialing 800-591-6942 about 10 minutes prior to the 11:00 a.m. start. The participant passcode is "Media General."  All others may access the live webcast by logging on to www.mediageneral.com and clicking on the "Live Webcast" link on the homepage about 10 minutes in advance.

A replay of the webcast will be available online at www.mediageneral.com beginning at 1:00 p.m. on April 24, 2013.
