"MDA provides essential services, such as flu shots, medical equipment repairs, support groups, local clinics and a week-long summer camp for families in our area who are battling neuromuscular disease. We also provide hope that one day we will find cures and treatments for the more than 40 types of muscle disease that fall under the MDA umbrella."
This year, 45 teams comprised of Lemont Refinery employees, contractors and sponsors, as well as their friends and family, participated in the event. All attendees enjoyed an evening of bowling, dinner, contests and raffles, as well as an award banquet where winners were presented with trophies and raffle prizes were drawn.
