Paul J. Richman as vice president of state government affairs. Richman has 26 years of experience in federal and state government affairs, most recently as the
Washington representative for the Port Authority of
New York and

Richman previously was director of federal affairs for the Port Authority of
New York and
New Jersey, where he was responsible for directing and managing the development and implementation of strategies to advance the Port Authority's legislative and regulatory priorities with Congress, the White House, and federal agencies. Prior to joining the Port Authority, Paul served as vice president for policy and government affairs at NSI, Inc., and was vice president of state government affairs for the Mortgage Bankers Association. He also served in the Office of the Vice President and as acting chief of staff and special assistant to the assistant secretary for policy at the U.S. Department of Labor during the Clinton Administration. Before coming to
Washington, DC, Richman worked for former
New York governor
