Compuware To Speak On Streaming Performance At NAB 2013 Conference

DETROIT, April 3, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq:CPWR), the technology performance company delivering a new generation of APM, today announced that Jennifer McClain, Senior Product Manager of Streaming for Compuware's application performance management (APM) business, will present a session titled: "Bad Streaming Performance Will Cost You Viewers: Keep Their Attention With High Performance Streaming ," at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 2013 Conference in Las Vegas.

Session Title: "Bad Streaming Performance Will Cost You Viewers: Keep Their Attention With High Performance Streaming"
When: Wednesday, April 10, 2012
Time: 10:30 a.m. Pacific time
Where: NAB 2013 Conference, Las Vegas Convention Center, N239/N241
What: With the recent explosion of streaming media, online video has become a critical part of the business. Though content plays a major role, it's only half the story. Poor streaming performance means long wait times and a negative end-user experience, potentially resulting in lost customers and revenue as well as negatively impacting the organization's brand. Consequently, organizations need to ensure their investment into great online and video content pays off by providing high-performance streaming where every second saved adds to the bottom line.
  Using real-world examples, during this session attendees will learn:
  ·  how streaming media works;
  ·  the challenges with monitoring streaming media delivery; and
  ·  the best practices for streaming performance management
Speaker: Jennifer McClain is Senior Product Manager of Streaming for Compuware's APM business and has more than 11 years of experience in the IT industry, with specialization in the performance of streaming media.

Compuware will exhibit at the NAB 2013 conference from April 8-11 at booth# SU10111.
