PASADENA, Calif., April 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Wallaby, the all-in-one card and mobile app that helps users maximize credit card rewards, today announced the launch of Wallaby 2.0, the latest edition of its mobile app for Android. The release features two-way FourSquare integration and new Android-specific interface improvements that provide users with more flexibility in choosing which credit card to use to maximize rewards.
Wallaby 2.0's redesigned interface makes the app easier and more intuitive to use for Android users. Users can now connect their Wallaby Wallet to their FourSquare account and receive an instant notification of which credit card in their wallet offers the best rewards for purchases made at a restaurant or store.
For example, upon check-in using the FourSquare App at a restaurant, Wallaby recommends the user's credit card offering the most cash back or points at that location and point in time. Alternatively, Wallaby users can check-in on FourSquare from within the Wallaby app. Wallaby 2.0 for Android also uses FourSquare's geolocation technology to suggest similar businesses based on the users' FourSquare history. Users can also refine credit card recommendations based on their personal preferences within Wallaby 2.0.
"With version 2.0 of our Android App, users get FourSquare integration plus more control to fine-tune their card recommendations and earn the rewards that are most valuable to them," said Wallaby Founder and CEO Matthew Goldman. "Let's say you're a fan of one hotel chain over another, and would rather have their points. With Wallaby 2.0, you tell us your preferences, and the app adjusts its recommendations based on your input. Advanced users can also specify the value of particular type of point down to the hundredth of a penny."Wallaby 2.0 extends the app's core functionality while offering an enhanced experience to Android users. Seamless integration with FourSquare also makes it easier for Wallaby users to maximize the value of credit card rewards programs with each purchase they make.
