Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP) Hopeful Kentucky's Industrial Hemp Industry Will Emerge After Passage Of Senate Bill 50
LAS VEGAS, April 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP), in its effort to support the industrial hemp movement after Kentucky Senate Bill 50 passed, announced standing offer for 4-year exclusive purchasing rights of Kentucky farmers' crops after approved legislation last week to permit industrial hemp production in Kentucky. According to the company's CEO, they would rather support U.S. farmers than to depend on imports from China or Canada for hemp-containing finished products and/or hemp ingredients for use in further processing. Senate Bill 50 will regulate and license the hemp industry in Kentucky, but only if the Federal government legalizes its production.
Bruce Perlowin, CEO of leading industrial hemp company, Hemp, Inc., and advocate for the industrial hemp industry for over 20 years, announced today his 10%, above the world's market price, standing offer for any " Kentucky Farmer" who gives Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP) exclusive purchasing rights of their entire crop for the next 4 years. That amount goes to 20% above the world market price if the " Hemp Farm Project" is part of a " Kins Community" which is a 2 1/2-acre homestead lot with a specific " Eco-Harmony Design" layout as featured in previous press release ( Hemp, Inc.'s CEO, Bruce Perlowin, Announces Plan to Create a 500-Acre Kins Domain Community in Arizona)
Building on the existing Arizona Kins Community business model, Hemp, Inc. is prepared to create decentralized, and in this case, a massive hemp products production model for all " Kins Community Hemp Farm Projects." This, in turn, would easily create tens of thousands of jobs branching out into several sectors of the economy and literally create " An American Agriculture-Industrial-Technological Revolution."Perlowin is inviting " Kentucky Farmers", " Kentucky Kins Community Projects", and " Hemp Products Manufacturing Projects" to be featured on his " Benefactors Of Humanity" website (under " Projects") which will help raise money for their individual " Kentucky Hemp Associated Projects." While Colorado, Maine, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and now Kentucky have all approved legislation that legalizes hemp production, farmers will not be growing hemp in any state until the federal government lifts its restrictions. Not to mention, those state officials opposed to the legalization believe the cost to 'police' or 'monitor' crops in the state will be exorbitant, as they will include such actions as background checks and GPS plotting of acreage. But according to Perlowin, the state would not have to incur any cost for third party verification companies to inspect crops. "We have been preparing for years, for this moment in history, with everything in place for whatever Kentucky needs from third party verification, to make sure it's not marijuana being grown. From our experience in northern California, in this area, we have the model to easily implement this... creating even more jobs for what we jokingly call ' The Under Cover Hemp Police'," says Perlowin. Specifically, the Bill shall establish conditions and procedures for the licensing of industrial hemp growers by the Department of Agriculture and require the department to coordinate a criminal history check with the assistance of law enforcement agencies. Moreover, according to Perlowin's " New Economic Paradigm" funding farmers and the state will not be a hindrance or deterrent, as the Benefactor of Humanity project ( www.benefactorsofhumanity.com) in particular has been designed with a continual revenue stream. This " economic model" easily pairs projects with funders. Thus far, the projects have been spreading like wildfire and attracting potential investors. There are also people, who necessarily can't afford to fund, but who are helping by joining the program. When asked why such a benevolent offer, Perlowin responded, "Because we are 'The Spirit of America'. Just listen to our Songs." ABOUT HEMP, INC. Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP) focuses on the vast market created by the quickly emerging, and growing, multibillion dollar industrial hemp industry. Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP) is not involved in the cultivation or marketing of medical marijuana. It is the company's belief that legalization of hemp in all 50 states and at the federal level will come to pass. With that in mind, the company is building infrastructure with the potential to gain substantial market share before and after industrial hemp prohibition ends. (Pending any federal licensing or other requirements, that may be enacted after hemp prohibition ends).
