social media program
to engage with Chamorro people living in
the United States
. In addition, the
Solano Community College
Educational Foundation (SCCEF) has tapped the
to implement a complete branding of the college foundation. The branding project encompasses a range of marketing and fundraising materials as well as a new website.
The Placemaking Group's work for the
kicked off with social media implementation and the production of a video showcasing the GVB's leading role at the recent Los Angeles Times Travel Show. Placemaking Group's activity will also include community outreach and coordinating "Show Us Your Chamorro" photo contests across a variety of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

in the U.S. and as a way to engage with the Chamorro community," said Ms.

Placemaking Group's work for SCCEF includes school branding, logo design and message development along with creation of a totally new marketing and fundraising package that will include a brochure and customizable folder with inserts. The SCCEF branding assignment also includes two new digital marketing elements -- the foundation's first website and an email newsletter -- to support the SCCEF's alumni communication and fundraising efforts.
