, co-founders and co-chairmen of Guthy-Renker LLC, will be inducted as part of the inaugural class into the Direct Response Hall of Fame.
The induction ceremony to honor Mr. Guthy and Mr. Renker's pioneering work in the direct marketing industry will take place at the Response Expo in

. Together, Mr. Guthy and Mr. Renker have helped set industry standards for trust, integrity and best practices that have contributed to shaping industry-wide governing policies. The co-founders of one of the largest direct response marketing companies are honored to be recognized.
The pair met in 1981 in
Indian Wells, Calif.
With mutual respect, entrepreneurial spirit and an appreciation for motivational books, they grew a successful business partnership. Their first foray into infomercials was in 1987 promoting
's "Think and Grow Rich" series of books and lectures. Using NFL Hall of Fame quarterback
