UFCW 876 President Announces Endorsement Of Detroit Mayoral Candidate Benny Napoleon

Real Life Experience Needed to Rebuild City

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 876 President Roger Robinson announced his endorsement for Detroit mayoral candidate Benny Napoleon; as his genuine compassion for the city's renewal, coupled with his unwavering support for working families, sets him apart from other prospects.

"Benny is an advocate for the city and for the people who work and reside there. His realistic grasp of the city's needs don't come from a spreadsheet; they come from the life he has lived." Roger Robinson, UFCW 876 president said. "Benny certainly has what it takes to move Detroit forward."

Robinson is confident Napoleon's passion to rebuild the city will bring about the changes needed for economic growth, city planning, development and improved safety.

"Benny has a realistic view of what it will take to rebuild Detroit." Robinson said. "I know he recognizes the importance of rebuilding the city by rebuilding the lives of those who reside there."
