LANGKAWI, Malaysia, March 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. today announced that it has entered into agreements to sell two S-76D™ helicopters to PT Travira Air, a Jakarta, Indonesia-based charter airline company. Sikorsky, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. ( NYSE:UTX), made the announcement from the Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition.
The purchase of the two S-76D aircraft represents the latest addition to the company's fleet but also represents the launching of the S-76D helicopter in Southeast Asia.
Sikorsky expects to deliver the S-76D helicopters in 2015.
