aggregate principal amount of 6.875% senior notes due 2021 (the "Senior Notes") and
aggregate principal amount of 2.75% Senior Convertible Notes due 2019 (the "Convertible Notes"), including
aggregate principal amount of Convertible Notes related to the underwriters' over-allotment option, which was exercised in full. Net proceeds to the Company totaled approximately
after deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and U. S. Steel's estimated offering expenses.
