The Green Insurance Company Joins Blogosphere

LONDON, March 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

Insurance intermediary The Green Insurance Company has continued to expand its social media presence by launching a brand new consumer focused blog page.

The Green Insurance Company, part of the wider Kwik-Fit Financial Services group, launched its blog at the end of February with early posts including 13 green tips for 2013, a look at an electricity generating footpath, as well as announcing their new and improved Green Grants scheme for 2013.

The new blog page promises to offer the latest environmental news and developments in the motoring world, with a green twist. The blog will also feature regular competitions, promotions and giveaways through The Green Insurance Company Facebook and Twitter pages.

Stewart Barnett, head of marketing and eCommerce at Kwik-Fit Financial Services, said: "As a business with mainly an online presence, it's important that we continue to develop our communications with our customers through various channels."

Barnett added: "Through the launch of our new blog, we plan to deliver timely, relevant and engaging content to our consumers. Hopefully this will also grow our established Twitter channel and Facebook page and, ultimately, grow our business."

The Green Insurance Company can be found on Twitter (@TGIC_Grimple), on Facebook and at http://blog.greeninsurancecompany.co.uk/.
