, a Gannett company and a leading provider of digital advertising technology and services, today announced the appointment of Mario Diez as Chief Executive Officer. Diez will be based at the company’s headquarters in King of Prussia, PA, outside Philadelphia.
This is a homecoming of sorts, as Diez opened the New York market for PointRoll in 2003, when the company was a two-year-old startup. In the years since, he has become one of the industry’s leaders at the vanguard of the display advertising ecosystem’s evolution.

Diez takes the helm at a pivotal time for PointRoll as it further expands beyond offering rich media, video and mobile display advertising to being a multi-screen digital advertising creation, delivery and measurement provider. Recognizing the proliferation of multi-screen media engagement and the difficulty marketers have with existing technologies and disparate, multi-vendor solutions, PointRoll delivers both the technology and support services to enable buyers and sellers to bridge this gap.
