has been named head of the Southern California Division, expanding his current region to include
. In this role, Stanfield is responsible for consumer and business banking operations within
, which includes over 150 branch locations and the bank's Pacific Rim Division.

Stanfield has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Bank of the West's predecessor in
in 1985 and in 2001 was named head of the Southwest Division. Stanfield is based out of the bank's corporate office in
and leaves a legacy of deep philanthropic and community ties in the Southwest. He was recently inducted into the
University of New Mexico
Anderson School of Management Hall of Fame. He is currently a board member with the Library Foundation of
and the Central City Association.
