SEOUL, South Korea, March 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- 'The 23rd Seoul International Sourcing Fair for Premium Gifts & Homeware (SIPREMIUM)' held at COEX A,B hall from March 6th to the 9th, ended in great success. Even in the period of troubles in the economy, 650 booths of 500 companies from 20 countries participated in the exhibition. This exhibition's theme can be summed up in 3 keywords; 'Green', 'Smart' and 'Design'.
With the introduction of both Premium Homeware and Design Gifts, the 'low-quality' image it originally had was replaced with raving reviews of improved quality to the top. Since SIPREMIUM focused its promotion and marketing to attract buyers to the event, it resulted in increase of business relationships established between the buyers and the participating companies. 'Dreamer Flower Bag,' a company that participated in SIPREMIUM since 2008 was offered display space in hypermarket and also possible deal for 100 and 150 million products from two companies. And 'Amazing Box,' which had unveiled its smartphone holder, received positive offers for 30 thousands products from cosmetics, medicine markets and department stores. 'Amazing Box' is very pleased with their participation in the event because of the massive attention received not only from the Korean buyers but also from Singapore, Australia, Canada, Japan and USA.
Also, smartphone accessory manufacturer 'CYNOON', took an interest of buyer from Malaysia and is close to negotiating a mass order of products. Additionally, 'DESIGNNODE', 'MODUDESIGN', and 'LIVING TOWEL' estimated it had succeeded in sales of $50,000 to $100,000 worth of products from buyers of Brazil, China, Singapore, and other countries. As well as for the other participating companies, they were extremely satisfied to have an average of 40 to 50 consultations per day to introduce their company.In addition, SIPREMIUM 2013, living up to its standard of an officially acknowledged by the UFI exhibition was getting a continuous attendance of overseas buyers for 4 days. The 'SIPREMIUM BIZ MATCHING PROGRAM', which was held for two days, helped bring together over 30 overseas buyers and exhibitors in a chance to establish a business relationship.
