EDMOND, Okla., March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Reese Energy Consulting, one of the industry's leading energy marketing specialists, today announced the formation of Reese Energy Training, Inc., a full-service, knowledge-based provider of high-end energy training uniquely designed for virtually every level of employee–from new hires and field employees to mid-level management and executives.
Reese Energy Training is the brainchild of Steve Reese, an energy industry staple as both a professional consultant and popular instructor. With more than 32 years of natural gas and contract negotiation experience, and 15 of those years dedicated to training, Reese determined the time was right to form a second firm that offered basic, advanced and client-customized curriculums across the energy spectrum.
"After training through third-party providers for years, I looked to create an energy training company that attracted real-world professionals with the same passion I have for sharing unique perspectives and insights into today's energy industry processes, technologies and decision-making," said Steve Reese, chief executive officer of Reese Energy Training, Inc.
With clients that range from independent producers to Fortune 500 energy companies, Reese Energy Training has attracted and continues to attract some of the most recognized clients across the energy complex. The company has scheduled 17 in-house seminars this year for major exploration and production and midstream companies such as Enbridge Energy Company and Devon Energy Corporation, and continues to expand its relationship with LDC Gas Forums."We cannot say enough about Steve Reese and his programs," said Katy Flood, advisor of public affairs for Enbridge. "He is an essential investment in the development of our employees. His classes sell out quickly and we seem to not be able to offer enough of them." "Steve is an excellent resource of knowledge when it comes to natural gas," said Christy Coleman, director, LDC Gas Forums and NGL Forum. "His presentation style is second to none. He keeps everyone engaged and offers a combination of information and fun." Reese's trademarked programs, Natural Gas Basics and Gas Processing Contracts and Negotiations, have been taught to thousands of industry professionals and virtually every Fortune 500 energy firm over the last 15 years. These courses will be offered under the Reese Energy Training banner along with newly developed NGL, midstream and liquids programs. Industry veterans Wes Haun and Bud Hum have joined Reese Energy Training as course instructors, and the company currently is in talks with other world-class educators to make Reese Energy Training a single-point resource of energy training for every level of employee. "I began teaching with Steve Reese in 2000 and have really enjoyed working with him to develop and present real-world, relevant classes for natural gas mid-stream clients," said Wes Haun. "Steve is an expert on his subject matter and has an excellent rapport with the participants he instructs, which makes his courses both informative and interesting." Reese Energy Training also looks to expand its curriculum in short order to include courses in hedging and trading, oil and gas contract law, petroleum refining, electrical power, alternative energy, and others.
