), the nation's largest and most technologically advanced employee benefits-only agency, appointed Carl Pilger as the company’s in-house legal counsel. As vice president, legal counsel, he’ll be responsible for benefits-related legal matters, education, compliance and health care reform initiatives.

For much of the last two decades, Pilger served successfully in a variety of legal and consulting positions, focusing on a wide array of ERISA and employee benefit sub-disciplines. He also engages in community activities as president of the East Side Baseball Association and conducts prospective enrollee interviews for Northwestern University School of Law where he graduated. Pilger earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University, as well.
