Concierge Auctions, the nation's leading luxury real estate auction firm, is pleased to announce another successful Hawaiian sale. A picturesque home in the exclusive Mauna Kea Resort on the
Big Island's Kohala Coast, just a short walk to the beach, sold yesterday at a live auction in cooperation with
Linda Bradley, R(B) and
Karen Bail, R(B) of
Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers. The buyer is from
Canada and is represented by
Rick Oliver of
Clark Realty Corporation. The sale comes one day after Concierge auctioned '
Hale Ku Mana' in the Hualalai Resort, also on the
Big Island. Upon closing, these properties will represent the 25
th and 26
th Hawaiian properties sold by Concierge.
Louis Haas explained his experience: "I was contacted approximately 15 months ago by Concierge to put this property, which was for sale at the time, into a Concierge auction. Instead, I kept the home with the local broker and did not receive a single offer over the next year (by the way, I think highly of the local broker — the failure was purely market driven in my estimation). Concierge Auctions' global marketing campaign generated 5,200 website visits from 42 US states (led by
New York) and 27 international countries (led by
Australia, the UK and the
Czech Republic). A total of 747 prospects were identified, and 7 bidders participated in the sale.
