Songs of Francis Poulenc: An Evening of Opera ( April 10): Performers from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and Chicago Opera Theater's joint Professional Diploma in Opera Program treat guests to a salon-style opera performance with works by French composer Francis Poulenc.
Happy Birthday, Lionel Hampton! ( April 20): A quartet of Chicago Jazz Orchestra musicians—Justin Thomas, Eric Schneider, Pete Benson, and Dennis Carroll—pays tribute to Lionel Hampton.
Aesop's "The Lion and the Mouse" ( April 28): Von Orthal Puppets' original adaptation of Aesop's fable combines marionette and bunraku puppetry.
